REAL WIZARD ROCK

This won’t happen every weekend, but when we feel it’s necessary we will make a post on a Saturday or Sunday to wrap-up the recent site updates and additions of the past couple weeks. The same information will most likely be posted in our MySpace blog as well for all you MySpace users. So here we go:

February 2nd – February 18th

1. THE WHOMPING WILLOWS: The Whomping Willows have released two new songs which are (for lack of a more perfect word) AWESOME! Check out the lyrics for the House of Awesome Theme Song and Cedric Had It Coming and head over to MySpace to have a listen. PLUS, Check out The Whomping Willows’ Wizard Rock Heart Throb! (It’s located under The Whomping Willows ‘Other Songs’) You can listen and download this new and amazing song here! We love you Whompy!

2. THE MUDBLOODS: Head over to More Bands and be sure to check out The Mudbloods. They rock. A lot.

3. PHILOSOPHEROCK: Philosopherock has been added to the site! (More Bands at the top.) Now, if you haven’t listened to them yet, you really need to. They are all sorts of awesome. In the words of Harry and the Potters: Forget about the Philosopher’s Stone! Because they’ve got the rock right here! Oh, and Eulogy, Book VI is new and simply amazing. Head over to their MySpace to check it out!

4. VOLDEMORT: Voldemort – Wizard METAL has been added to the site! (Check them out under More Bands at the top.) The lyrics are from the new CD, Evil is Sexy, which is the EP of February for the Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club. 5. We also introduced our LYRICS OF THE DAY: The world of Wizard Rock revolves around lyrics! We have decided to provide you with Lyrics of the Day in order to capture particularly witty, hilarious, and/or emotionally deep lyrics that deserve this kind of recognition. We’re also asking YOU, the Wizard Rock fans, to pick out some of your favorite lyrics and send them in for us to post as Lyrics of the Day.
