The Sweater Song

Don’t want nothing expensive,
What I desire is more pensive.
Don’t need no diamond rings,
What I want for Christmas is just one thing:

A maroon sweater
That has the letter
“H”
On the front.
That’s all I want.

Every winter,
I eye your presents jealously.
And I wait for the time
When I’ll get mine
But it’s never to be.

Every holiday fades away,
And I am left empty handed.
I just don’t understand it.

A maroon sweater
That has the letter
“H” for Hermione
On the front.
That’s all I want.

Is that too much to ask for?
Is that too much to hope for?
Is that too much to wish for?
I implore.

It’s just a measly sweater,
Easy enough to have done.
Ron Weasley get her (your mom)
To make me one.

I hope I’m not sounding too needy.
I promise I won’t be greedy.

I only want a sweater
For Christmas.

I LOVE THIS SONG.
I especially like the part that goes: “Ron Weasely, get her—your mom!—to make me one!” She sounds exasperated.
Her voice is lovely and songs addicting.
