Mom really captured Snape’s personality in this song, as well as his feelings and regrets. It’s one of the most beautiful wrock-songs that exists and it don’t have to be about Lily and Sev, it could be about any couple. :3

I’ve never thought of it that way, but I think that is a beautiful picture of the song where you captured it by your own words. And yes, in my head he tries to explain and tell her that he’s sorry, but in some way, I’m not sure that Lily would be that … mean to him, after death. I think she comes to her senses, just as he do, and want to be his friend again..

I love this song It is EPIC!!!…and one of the best. I love Snape not just from a fan point of view but if your looking at the dynamics of his actual character he is amazing. He is able to betray what he used to believe in and he is so brave… yet he must’ve been through so much self-doubt about what he was doing with Harry being James’ son. Amazing

I think of the end of this song as not as much Snape going bad but more Voldemort killed him so therefore won. But that’s just my opinion.

No, Voldemort did not win. He just delayed his end for a little bit by murdering Severus. After Severus was bitten when Harry came to him and received his memories, he went to the pensieve and looked at all the memories, which cost him some time. So, Voldemort only delayed his own death, while Severus helped the cause. I <3 Severus Snape~!!!

One of my all time favorite wizard rock songs! I am absolutely obsessed with Ministry of Magic!!!! And for those of you who are wondering about the lyrics at the end of the song, it was written before DH came out so it appeared as if Voldemort had won. MoM has now written a sequel to Snape vs. Snape called The Bravest Man I Ever Knew which is a Snape is a hero song so all of you Snape fans should go to MoM’s myspace page and listen to it. It’s an amazing song also! And while you’re there you can buy their totally awesome new album Goodbye Privet Drive. Sorry if I sound like an advertisement, but seriously go buy their albums. They are both amazing. Hooray for Snape!!!!
