Eulogy for an Acromantula

He was a good friend,
He was a good friend of mine.
We gather here,
We gather here to say our goodbyes.

I wanted you,
I wanted you all to see
How good he was,
So good and kind.
So I wrote down this eulogy.

You may have thought him scary,
May have thought him mean.
But look inside his thousand eyes
And what you’d see…

A creature always loyal,
Always loyal to me.
I helped him grow
That’s why he never tried to eat me.

(Chorus)

And it breaks my heart
To break eight legs
And slowly place them in your grave.

I’ll miss you friend,
My life’s a fog.
I’ll miss you noble Aragog.

I earned your trust,
I earned your trust,
I gave you mine.

We helped each other,
Helped each other
Time to time.

You had my love,
You had my love.
My heart in my chest.

You kept your children’s fangs,
Their fangs away from my flesh.

I hope that I,
I hope that I was a man you loved.

Now that you’re gone
I’ll miss you, oh, acromantula.

So rest in peace,
Rest in peace.
I bid you well.

It makes me sad,
It makes me sad to know
All spiders go to Hell.

(Chorus)

And it breaks my heart
To break eight legs
And slowly place them in your grave.

I’ll miss you friend,
My life’s a fog.
I’ll miss you noble Aragog.
